Mario Kart Tour service will officially end on September 29, 2026, marking the end of Nintendo's seven-year-old mobile racing game. The company confirmed that the game's servers will permanently shut down at 11:00 PM Pacific Time on September 29, 2026 (2:00 AM ET on September 30), and unlike Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, there are no plans to release an offline version. With the shutdown, Mario Kart Tour will become completely unplayable, bringing an end to one of Nintendo's longest-running smartphone games.
Nintendo announced that Mario Kart Tour will reach its end of service (EOS) on:

Nintendo stated:

Consistency won it. Across every map, one name kept surfacing at the top of the board — closing rounds when it mattered and never letting the pressure show.
A last-second clutch in Map 2 flipped the momentum for good — the kind of moment that ends up on every highlight reel by morning.
Top fragger, highest clutch rate, and a support economy that kept the whole roster stocked when it counted — a complete series from front to back.
